CAN'T STOP, WON'T STOP...making comics.

It's been a while since I've done anything with this blog thing, but I want to get back into it, to make it a fun home-base/clubhouse for my creations/fixations/etc. Lately, I'm getting my feet wet with poetry comics, i.e. reading and creating them--which, needless to say, I've enjoyed a bunch (sample below, if anyone's interested).

(Shh, still working on it. Shh.)

Since I got it last week, I've really been enjoying my copy of Ink Brick Vol. 1, and I'm stoked that the second volume is coming out in just a few days (still need to get on that pre-order!).

Go, go, go: http://inkbrick.com/.

Still tinkering with this site, so some of the tabs are duds, but I'm going to keep on keeping on re: the tinkering and adding. (Ha, I also need to actually publish some more, so those bare-cupboard tabs can get filled.)

What else? It's time to read Frankenstein again, especially as my first-time-reading of Dracula comes to a close. I've also been poring through Bianca Stone's Someone Else's Wedding Vows. Really need this book when it comes out (also soon!): Earthling by Aisha Franz, from Drawn & Quarterly.

Anyway, I'm sure I'll think of something I wished to talk about as soon as I click the little orange button, but I'll stop now.
